What the Bible says about
loneliness
The first thing God calls "not good" in the whole Bible is a human being alone. That comes before any wrongdoing, in a world still intact. Loneliness is not evidence of some spiritual defect in you. It is a pain the text itself acknowledges from the start.

God names the pain
"It is not good for the man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18). The verdict is God's, not the man's. Before offering any remedy, the Bible validates the problem, which is already more than most advice manages.
A prayer you can borrow
Psalm 25:16 is short and direct: "Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted." It is a model for anyone who would rather not pretend to God that things are fine.
The answer is people, not only comfort
Psalm 68:6 says God "sets the lonely in families." The remedy Scripture offers most often for loneliness is not a feeling, it is other human beings: a table, a church, someone nearby. Hebrews 13:5 adds the promise of presence that does not depend on anyone showing up.
