La Biblia
About
La Biblia is an online Bible made for people who want to read and understand. Reading is free and always will be: you do not need an account and you do not need to pay to open any chapter, in any of the available translations.
Beyond reading, the website and the app offer AI-assisted study that explains the context of a passage, builds a Bible study or a sermon outline, and answers questions about the text.
How it started
The idea came out of my own life, in Bible studies and at church, during a sermon or a reading. I would have a specific question about the text: about the history behind it, about the context, about what the author meant right there. And I thought: why not build a place where people, myself included, could get those questions answered and learn a little more about the Bible, about the Word of God?
That is where La Biblia came from.

Why it exists
A lot of people open the Bible and get stuck on the very first question: who is speaking, to whom, in what situation, what that word meant back then. What was missing was a tool that answered this right away, on your phone, without a shelf full of commentaries.
That is the whole idea: keep the reading simple and beautiful, and keep the explanation one tap away for anyone who wants to go deeper.
How artificial intelligence is used
Before answering, the system fetches the actual text of the passage from our database and hands it to the model, so the answer rests on what is written and not on the machine's memory.
Even so, content generated by artificial intelligence can contain inaccuracies. It is a study aid, never the last word: always check it against the biblical text and use discernment. On subjects where sincere Christians disagree, the model is instructed to point out the disagreement rather than assert one side as though it were settled.
Translations
The biblical text is shown in several translations, for reading and comparison. Those texts belong to their respective copyright holders and are credited in the reading interface itself.
