Terms of Use

Last updated: July 26, 2026

La Biblia is operated from Brazil and these Terms are governed by Brazilian law. This English text is a translation offered for your convenience. If it conflicts with the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.

These Terms govern the use of the La Biblia website and app, offered by Daniel da Rocha Nascimento Gestão Empresarial LTDA, CNPJ 63.001.120/0001-23, headquartered in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil. By using La Biblia, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What we offer

La Biblia is an online Bible with study features. Reading is free and does not require an account. AI-assisted study features may be free, limited by a quota, or tied to a subscription, as stated in the product itself at the moment you use them.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. When a change matters to paying users, we will tell them.

2. Your account

Creating an account is optional, and it exists so you can save your studies, reading history, and favorites. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for the activity carried out through it. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

You can request deletion of your account at any time, through the procedure described on the account deletion page.

3. Acceptable use

By using La Biblia, you agree not to:

  • use the service for unlawful purposes, or to promote hatred, violence, or discrimination;
  • try to get around usage limits, quotas, or security measures;
  • extract the content through automated means in bulk, overload the infrastructure, or resell access;
  • reproduce the biblical text in a way that violates the rights of the translation copyright holders.

4. Content generated by artificial intelligence

The explanations, studies, outlines, and answers produced by artificial intelligence are a study aid, not advice, whether theological, doctrinal, legal, medical, financial, or psychological.

This content can contain inaccuracies. Always check it against the biblical text and use discernment. Responsibility for decisions made on the basis of this content lies with the person making them. The generated content does not represent the position of any church, denomination, or institution.

5. Biblical text and intellectual property

The biblical texts belong to their respective copyright holders and are identified in the reading interface. The brand, the design, the code, and the other elements of La Biblia belong to the company named above.

The studies you generate and save are tied to your account and you may use them freely, subject to the copyright restrictions on the biblical text quoted in them.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Where there is a subscription, the price, the term, and how it renews are shown before purchase. Subscriptions bought inside the apps are processed and charged by the App Store (Apple) or by Google Play, depending on the store, and cancellation and refunds follow the rules of the store where the purchase was made. Subscriptions bought on the website go through the payment processor shown at checkout. We do not store your card details.

Renewal is automatic until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

7. Advertising

The service may display third-party ads. What is collected for that is described in the privacy policy.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may carry out maintenance. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under Brazilian law.

9. Privacy

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The update date at the top of this page indicates the version in force. Significant changes will be announced in the product.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the courts of the judicial district of Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil, are the agreed venue for disputes, without prejudice to a consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own place of residence.
